This is a scope profile, not a quote
The estimator returns phases, a duration band and a team shape. It deliberately returns no price: a figure calculated from five dropdowns would ignore your existing systems, your data quality and your compliance obligations, and we will not put a number in front of you that we cannot stand behind.
A written, itemised quote follows the discovery conversation.
We will state the earliest realistic discovery start date in the reply.
Before you ask
What happens to your request
No auto-responder sequence, no sales cadence, no mailing list.
It reaches an engineer
Your request is stored and forwarded to info@asterionsoftwaresro.com. It is read by someone who could actually do the work, not by a qualification script.
You get a written reply
Within one business day: our reading of the scope, the questions that would change the answer, and whether we are the right supplier. Sometimes the honest reply is that we are not.
Then a conversation, if you want one
A 30-minute technical call, free and with no obligation. A written, itemised quote follows discovery — never before it.
FAQ
Questions we are asked before a first call
Who owns the source code you write?
You do. Intellectual property in bespoke work transfers to the client on payment, and the code lives in your repository from the first commit. We keep no licence over it and build no dependency on us into the architecture.
How do you charge, and in which currency?
Fixed-scope engagements are quoted per milestone; dedicated teams and advisory retainers are invoiced monthly. We invoice in EUR or CZK from a Czech VAT-registered company (DIČ CZ10736697). For VAT-registered business customers in other EU member states, the reverse-charge mechanism applies.
Do you publish prices on the website?
No. The estimator on this site returns an engineering profile — phases, an indicative duration band and the team shape — not a price. A price that ignores your existing systems, data quality and compliance obligations would be a number we could not stand behind, so we quote in writing after the discovery conversation.
Can you work with our existing team and our tooling?
Yes, and it is the common case. We work in your repository, your issue tracker and your review process. If your stack differs from the one listed on this site, tell us in the estimate request — we will say plainly whether we are the right supplier for it.
What happens to our data during an engagement?
We process client data only on documented instructions under a written data-processing agreement, keep production access to the minimum needed, and prefer anonymised or synthetic data in development environments. Our own site collects only what you type into a form; the privacy policy lists every field and its retention period.
Are you certified to ISO 27001?
No. Our internal controls are modelled on ISO/IEC 27001 Annex A and the OWASP ASVS, but Asterion Software s.r.o. does not hold a certification against either standard, and we will not claim one. If your procurement process requires a certified supplier, tell us early so nobody wastes a cycle.
How quickly can you start?
Discovery for a new engagement can usually begin within two to four weeks. Availability changes, so the reply to your estimate request states the real next start date rather than a marketing answer.
What kinds of work do you decline?
Gambling and betting platforms, adult content, systems whose purpose is to evade regulation or platform policy, unsolicited bulk messaging tools, credential harvesting or scraping in breach of a service’s terms, and any work requiring a regulatory licence we do not hold. The terms page states this in full.
